Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2024: Here’s what we’ll be up to

We’re excited for 2024 and the prospects it brings! 2023 was a year of growth for us, and we appreciate the trust and collaboration from our valued customers and trusted partners that fueled this.

In particular, we saw increased demand for our ever-growing range of Harrier autofocus-zoom cameras for UAV and ROV applications. More and more sectors are embracing the benefits of remote inspection and connected surveillance, and IP cameras have seen significant interest. We will be introducing more zoom options and additional output variants in 2024 to stay at the forefront of computer imaging.

As smart factories and automated production methods become more widely adopted, requests for our high-speed frame grabbers for industrial inspection tasks are increasing, especially in the Asia-Pacific market. We expect this trend to continue as AI-driven vision systems promise increased accuracy and flexibility. Look out for our CoaXPress-over-fiber acquisition cards, plus other additions to our FireBird family of CXP and Camera link frame grabbers.

We’re also starting 2024 with a couple of joint R&D projects with our sister company, Steatite. These are based mostly around combining our design skills with their computing expertise to create custom embedded vision computing products – watch this space for updates! You might even notice some aesthetic changes to reflect this closer collaboration with the Solid State Group.

We’re looking forward to seeing some new faces in our expanding team this year. We’re recruiting currently for an Electronics Inspector, Senior FPGA Engineer and Senior Product Manager, and we’re creating more roles shortly. Keep an eye on our careers page to become part of our exciting journey.
