New 100 Gbps FireBird CoaXPress over Fiber – Live Demo
The new-generation FireBird 1xCOF100G-4PE8 frame grabber designed for ultimate performance features a QSFP28 port that supports data rates up to 100 Gbps across four 25 Gbps lanes. Its PCI Express 4.0 x8 interface enables real-time transfer of high-resolution image data to the host system. Fiber optic cabling allows for very long cable lengths and is immune to EMI.
In our FireBird CoaXPress over Fiber live demo, we paired our 100G board with a Vieworks 100G camera to showcase the exceptional bandwidth and super-high frame rates this new board and its cutting-edge technology deliver.
New Harrier AF-Zoom Cameras with Global Shutter and Live Demo
We just launched new global shutter cameras, the Harrier 10x AF-Zoom Camera GS and the Harrier 30x AF-Zoom Camera GS. These cameras are designed to capture fast-moving objects without the motion distortion associated with rolling shutter sensors. They both feature a 3MP Sony Pregius S global shutter CMOS sensor and real-time Full HD video output at up to 1080p60. Video output formats include LVDS and CVBS and, using Harrier Camera Interface technology, also USB 3, HDMI, or Ethernet IP.
In our live demo at VISION, we compared our Harrier 10x Autofocus-Zoom Camera with Global Shutter with our Harrier 10x AF-Zoom Camera with Rolling Shutter. The benefits of a camera with a global shutter sensor are clear when viewing a fast-moving object.
OpenCV and CoaXPress Machine Vision Demo
Visitors to the Active Silicon stand experienced our live machine vision demo featuring our 2xCXP12-3PE4L CoaXPress Frame Grabber in an Oncilla chassis with an OpenCV application that identified ArUco markers in a fun poker dice style game with a chance to win a Lego prize.
Harrier Camera Drone Demo with Specialist Payload
Our 4th demo featured live video streaming from a Harrier 10x AF-Zoom USB/HDMI Camera built into a model UAV. The model also showcased other products from the wider Solid State Group, including power and communication technology, which we can provide for UAV development.
