The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in developing our next generation of imaging products.
This is a hands-on role within a multidisciplinary engineering team where you will contribute from concept through to production — designing robust electro-mechanical solutions and supporting product delivery into global markets.
You will also support process improvements and contribute to continuous development of mechanical design standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Produce and maintain drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Manage 3D libraries for mechanical and PCB integration
- Support prototyping, testing, validation, and product release
- Collaborate with electronics, production, and quality teams
- Troubleshoot production and field-related mechanical issues
- Support suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement
- Support migration and optimisation of CAD systems and processes
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience designing electro-mechanical products
- Advanced SolidWorks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience producing engineering documentation and BOMs
- Practical, hands-on engineering mindset
- Strong communication and project management skills
Desirable
- Experience in computer vision or camera systems
- Exposure to PCB design collaboration (e.g. Altium)
- Regulated industry experience (medical, defence, aerospace, etc.)
- Thermal or stress modelling knowledge
- Experience in taking products from concept to production
- MRP/BOM version control experience
