Harrier camera interface boards take data from the proprietary camera interface, LVDS, and format into industry standard interfaces such as 3G-SDI / HD-SDI, USB 3.0, HDMI and Ethernet IP (incl. PoE options). These high-quality boards also allow for customized video processing functions.
Active Silicon designs and manufactures a wide range of frame grabbers based around leading-edge hardware technology and versatile software toolkits. Our range includes image acquisition cards for CoaXPress, CoaXPress over Fiber and Camera Link systems. FireBird Frame Grabbers provide high-speed image acquisition without CPU usage, allow for advanced triggering and synchronization and GPU processing as required. Windows and Linux are supported.
Our powerful Oncilla machine vision systems combine industry-leading imaging expertise with rugged industrial computers. Some models have the latest frame grabber technology incorporated and deliver high-speed image acquisition and high-performance processing capability. Oncilla systems are built for long-term durability and extended product life.
BlueBird video adapters provide flexible video conversion and seamless integration with Harrier AF-Zoom cameras and interface boards. Currently we offer video adapters that covert SDI video to simultaneously USB and HDMI video output (this adapter also includes a HD video transmission solution over long distances), 3G/HD-SDI video to H.264 IP video and analog video to SDI video.
Active Silicon’s custom embedded systems often integrate our leading-edge image acquisition technology. Typically, units are designed for a specific OEM application often in the field of medical devices, industrial automation or remote monitoring. They meet various safety and quality standards and retain the same fit, form and function for many years.
Active Silicon offers a range of accessories for our hardware products, including CoaXPress and Camera Link cables, optical fiber cables and accessories and FireBird IO adapters for use with our frame grabbers. For our Harrier and Oriole cameras we offer evaluation kits and/or evaluation boards.
Active Silicon computer vision products are supported by a variety of software tools. We provide powerful user software and SDKs for frame grabbers with support for Windows and Linux. Additionally, a wide range of drivers for third-party machine vision and scientific imaging packages is available.
For our cameras we provide camera control software and for USB products an SDK for USB video application developers.
