High-quality, real-time imaging from multiple cameras

Active Silicon CoaXPress frame grabber on display on Optiger booth at CIOE

Visitors at the Chinese International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) have been impressed by our demo running on the Optiger booth.

The demo shows the ease with which customers can acquire high-quality, real-time images from up to four cameras simultaneously using a single frame grabber. The board on display is our FireBird CoaXPress Quad board, an eight lane Gen2 PCI Express interface. Supported cameras include multiple brands and models meaning that existing hardware can be incorporated simply into vision systems. Multi-camera systems offer greater flexibility and precision for advanced industrial inspection.

Optiger are a leading Chinese manufacturer and distributor of optoelectronic products in the field of machine vision including lenses, cameras and illumination control products.

The show runs until 7th September, so you still have the chance to visit if you’re in the area. Otherwise, we’ll be happy to tell you more about our frame grabbers, camera interface boards and embedded systems – contact sales@activesilicon.com with your questions or view our products here.
