ITIS Holding to acquire VITRONIC
German industrial machine vision manufacturer VITRONIC is set to join the portfolio of companies of ITIS Holding, based in Czechia.
ITIS Holding invests in advanced technologies in transport infrastructure and automation and currently owns CzechToll, SkyToll and TollNet as well as payment solutions supplier PaySystem. Matej Okáli, CEO of ITIS Holding, commented on the deal: “We will support the growth and success of VITRONIC, delivering advanced solutions and top services globally.” ITIS Holding is itself part of PPF Group, the majority shareholder of Škoda and investor in multiple sectors.
Headquartered in Wiesbaden and operating in over 80 countries, VITRONIC develops specialized products and software for image-based quality inspection, identification and process optimization for automation and traffic engineering. “We are excited to continue our growth as we unite with ITIS to enhance our global reach, our research and development capacity and operational competences to better service our clients’ needs” confirmed Daniel Scholz-Stein, VITRONIC CEO.
VITRONIC recorded sales of more than €208m in 2022 but the details of the acquisition have not been released.
