The family includes frame grabbers supporting the very fastest CXP speeds available in multi-connection formats, offering up to 50 Gbps input rate. Plus, our CoaXPress over Fiber option delivers a solution for very long cable lengths or electrically challenging environments.
FireBird is designed for ultimate performance using Active Silicon’s proprietary DMA Engine technology, “ActiveDMA”. This technical innovation applies RISC based processor techniques and guarantees high speed and low latency image data transfers and zero CPU intervention.
Full GenICam support is included, and the frame grabbers can be used in combination with GPUs to eliminate CPU overhead.
