In the video, our CEO, Colin Pearce, gives an introduction to Active Silicon and an insight into our latest product innovations, followed by a tour of the various live product demonstrations at the booth. The first being the quad channel CoaXPress interface card for image acquisition from multiple high speed cameras.

The next demo showcases one of our embedded systems products to acquire and process video streams from up to four USB3 Vision cameras, the USB3 Vision Processing Unit.

The third demo shows our support for NVIDIA’s GPUDirect for Video technology using our frame grabbers and de-bayering of up to 2 billion pixels per second on the GPU with no CPU load.

As Embedded Vision becomes more and more a subject for applications in various industries, Active Silicon is offering its high-end Camera Link frame grabbers in embedded form-factors as well as standard PC formats. The final demo in the video shows an application requiring precise high-speed triggering with our new 3U CompactPCI Serial Camera Link frame grabber.
