Automation Taipei takes place next week on 20-23 August at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Our Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region, Ye Liu, is heading to the event to support our partners, URVISION, who will have our products on display.
URVISION are experts in serving the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Factory Automation sector. They will be running live demos on their booth displaying the high-speed, high-resolution capabilities of our imaging products.
The Oncilla Machine Vision Computer – CoaXPress over Fiber will power the first demo. The powerful, rugged industrial PC has an integrated FireBird CoaXPress over Fiber 4xCOF-12 frame grabber, enabling the CoaXPress protocol to run over a fiber optic cable. This supports high-speed transmission of high-quality images over fiber optic cables, ideal for machine vision inspection tasks requiring long cable lengths or in electrically challenging environments.
Our FireBird Quad CXP-12 3PE8 CoaXPress frame grabber will also be on the booth. This acquisition card supports one 4-connection camera, two 2-connection cameras, or up to four 1-connection cameras, all up to CXP-12. As with all our FireBird frame grabbers, Active Silicon’s proprietary DMA Engine technology, “ActiveDMA” applies RISC-based processor techniques and guarantees high speed, low latency image data transfers and zero CPU intervention.
Additionally, visitors can witness the real-time imaging of our Harrier 10x AF-Zoom USB/HDMI Camera (based on the popular Tamron MP3010M-EV autofocus-zoom camera). This extremely compact and lightweight block camera features a 10x optical zoom, a 5 Megapixel image sensor and provides Full HD video up to 1080p60.
