The FireBird I/O Adapter Type 25D-B allows end bracket access to a subset of the I/O on a FireBird frame grabber board. This 50 to 25-way adapter comes with a 24cm (9.45in) ribbon cable and connects to 4x opto-isolated outputs, 2x opto-isolated inputs and 4x RS-422 outputs. On a FireBird frame grabber board I/O signals are provided via a 50-way header on the PCB. Some FireBird frame grabbers already offer access to I/O on the end bracket of the frame grabber board.
