New software engineer strengthens Active Silicon’s R&D Resources

Our new Junior Software Engineer, Ioannis, is now a month into his role at Active Silicon. Ioannis joined us from a technology company where he gained several years of experience working with C#, C++ and Java. He has a MEng degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey and will be using his skills here working on ActiveCapture and release testing amongst other things.

Active Silicon offers a range of software to support its vision hardware products across several operating systems. This is one of the most responsive and flexible support offerings in the industry and Ioannis will be involved in designing and implementing these crucial solutions, and developing new ways to keep our products at the forefront of machine vision technology.
