Expanding QC, R&D and Operations

Three new starters at Active Silicon

We’re delighted to welcome some new faces to Active Silicon as our QC, R&D and Operations areas continue to grow.

Working across our QC process, Pratik has come on board as Quality Inspector. He is tasked with inspection of incoming components, build to print parts, PCBs and assemblies, through to inspection of outgoing final products. His familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and other quality standards will help to ensure we maintain our reputation for excellence.

Ray is our new Head of Firmware and has taken ownership of FPGA design and key product development, as well as working on customer requests for customized firmware. His background in hardware design and extensive experience in ASIC and FPGA design will help to keep our products at the forefront of imaging technology.

Jason has joined us as Stores Controller, managing our goods in and out processes. He brings years of experience in purchasing and warehousing supervision and is doing a fantastic job of optimising our inventory control and stock management to meet our customers’ ever changing needs.

We’ve got a further couple of roles being filled in June, so watch this space for more team updates!
