Festive wishes from Active Silicon

Santa skiing in winter landscape

The decorations are up, the Secret Santa gifts are wrapped and we’re all ready for some seasonal cheer at the Active Silicon offices. As our 30th year in operation draws to a close, we’d like to thank all our customers, suppliers and partners for their support, not just in 2018, but over the years.

So, what has the last 12 months held for us? We’ve launched a new single link CoaXPress frame grabber optimized for cost-effectiveness, along with the first of our CoaXPress v2.0 acquisition cards, capable of transmitting data at 50 Gbps in line with the new, faster standard. And our Harrier camera interface board and converter have arrived, offering long-reach, real-time HD video transmission to a variety of sectors including pipe inspection, industrial vision and medical imaging. We’ve also welcomed several new members of staff, supporting the company growth that we forecast back in January. It’s been a busy year!

Please note that our production department will be closed from 21st December until 2nd January. We wish you all a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas and look forward to working with you throughout 2019.
