Strengthening Our Expertise with New Talent
The team at Active Silicon continues to grow, and we’re delighted to welcome our newest colleagues.
In February, Tioram joined us as IT & Production Technician. As well as being a crucial player in first- and second-line support along with longer-term project implementation, his role also covers assisting R&D development including test PC/server systems and scripting tools for the automation of product testing. For a break from all things IT, Tioram currently coaches both an under 7’s & under 16’s football team.
We further expanded our R&D team with Ryan, who also joined us in February. After initially recruiting for a software role, we were delighted to bring Ryan on board as Senior Software/Hardware Engineer as he has a wealth of knowledge in both areas and brings valuable skills to both our software and hardware teams. Outside the office, Ryan enjoys equally diverse interests including martial arts and astronomy.
At a Group level, we were pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Brown as Chief Sales Officer – USA Operations. Stephen will work across the Solid State Group, including Active Silicon, Steatite, Custom Power and Solsta, to enhance its sales approach and customer engagement model in the USA.
These appointments underline our optimism and expectations for growth as we enter the new financial year, and we look forward to supporting our customers, partners and colleagues with our expanding pool of talent.
