Tattile, the Italian expert in intelligent traffic monitoring systems, has announced that it has acquired Comark, another Italian company specializing in traffic monitoring, parking systems and laser-based volumetric vehicle measurement.

The acquisition will strengthen Tattile’s traffic optimization portfolio, adding Comark’s traffic flow and toll management technology to its AI-driven products and ANPR capabilities. Its CEO, Corrado Franchi, commented that the partnership “is a natural step towards the generation of new high-performance and high-added value systems, based on the unlimited opportunities generated by AI.”

Comark founder, Federico Vincenzi, confirmed he is motivated by the “unique opportunity to ensure Comark’s solid growth in the international markets” and to “exploit the best of both companies’ core competencies.”

Tattile itself is part of the TKH group, the Dutch technology solutions company which also comprises vision companies including Allied Vision, SVS-Vistek, Chromasens and Nerian.
