Leadership Update

Active Silicon's new general manager

We are delighted to welcome Brian O’Connell as Active Silicon’s new General Manager. Brian will focus on expanding our existing customer relationships and uncovering new opportunities for growth.

Brian will work closely with our Co-Founder and CTO, Chris Beynon, as well as leadership teams across the wider Group, to scale the business while reinforcing our technical foundation and staying true to our core values.

A proven transformational leader, Brian brings extensive experience leading complex, large-scale programs in the defense and space sectors. His combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution makes him exceptionally well-positioned to guide our next phase of growth.

On his appointment, Brian commented: “I’m committed to fostering a culture of innovation. My focus is on setting a clear vision, aligning our efforts with tactical priorities, and driving long-term value for the business. I’m excited about the opportunity to collaborate closely with our talented team, valued customers, and trusted suppliers.”
