Vieworks to display CoaXPress over Fiber Frame Grabber at Photonics West
Are you attending Photonics West? The event kicks off on 25th January in San Francisco, USA. The world’s largest photonics technologies event is co-located with SPIE AR | VR | MR and SPIE Global Business Forum.
Our partner, Vieworks, is exhibiting at the show. Visit them on booth 661 to see their industry-leading, high-resolution machine vision cameras. They will also be displaying our very latest image acquisition technology, the FireBird CoaXPress over Fiber 4xCOF-12 frame grabber.
CoaXPress over Fiber gives high-speed data and camera control all over a fiber optic cable. The QSFP+ compliant port allows up to 40 Gbps of data. The board also features a Fast PCI Express 3.0 (Gen3) 8-lane interface, comprehensive I/O including end bracket I/O and Active Silicon’s proprietary DMA Engine technology, “ActiveDMA”. This technical innovation applies RISC based processor techniques and guarantees high-speed image data transfer in real time with zero CPU intervention. With the correct choice of optical transceiver module, cameras can be placed multiple kilometers from the frame grabber/PC.
