The Harrier 36x Autofocus-Zoom (AF-Zoom) SDI Camera offers real-time full HD video output and a powerful 36x optical zoom (32x digital zoom). Fitted with a 2 Megapixel Sony Global Shutter CMOS sensor, the camera captures moving objects without the distortion that can occur with rolling shutters.
The camera provides HD-SDI video up to 1080p30 and comes with an EX-SDI (compressed video) output option that enables the use of longer transmission cables (compared to SDI). Serial VISCA or Pelco-D/P Control Protocol are available to control the camera. CVBS and HD-TVI outputs are also available.
Special features of this global shutter block camera include Digital Image Stabilization, Noise Reduction, Privacy Mask Function, Intelligent Motion Detection, Day & Night mode (Infrared Cut filter Removal, ICR) and High/Back Light Compensation (HLC/BLC).
Active Silicon offers two variants of Harrier 36x AF-Zoom Cameras with SDI video output. The Harrier 36x AF-Zoom SDI Camera is more compact and provides EX-SDI and HD-TVI output options. The Harrier 36x AF-Zoom HD-SDI Camera also delivers high quality HD-SDI output, but it is made up from a Harrier 36x AF-Zoom (LVDS) Camera with a Harrier 3G-SDI Camera Interface Board; this enables support for HD-VLC output, which we recommend for use with extra long cable lengths and the Bluebird SDI Adapter. The interface board can also be modified to add custom video processing features.
