The video includes details of what’s included with the camera and in the evaluation kit, how to get it started, getting online and managing simple control functions on the administrative website. This short tutorial shows just how quick and straight forward it is to add an IP camera to your network.

As well as offering three video streams these cameras have support for H.265 and H.264. Our portfolio of Ethernet IP cameras includes several other models with a slightly different set-up, which we explain in a separate tutorial video.

Along with our Quick Start Guide, SDK with example software, and tips on reducing latency in vision systems, it couldn’t be easier to enhance your vision system with a powerful IP camera.

Benefits of IP cameras

Benefits of IP cameras include easy connection to standard PCs and Ethernet infrastructure, industry standard camera control interface (ONVIF), and compatibility with third-party ONVIF compliant software.

Applications for these versatile cameras include networked surveillance, connected industrial inspection and many more. For example, the Harrier 52x AF-Zoom IP Camera offers a block camera solution with powerful zoom ideal for remote monitoring, traffic & transport, robotics and ROVs. The Harrier 23x AF-Zoom 4K IP Camera delivers 4K video for applications where crisp imaging is paramount.
