The Sony FCB-EV7520 and -EV7520A cameras are now end-of-life. Please contact sales for remaining stock and alternative products. We recommend the Harrier 30x AF-Zoom HDMI Camera (Sony FCB-EV9520L) as their improved successor.
The Harrier 30x AF-Zoom HDMI Camera (Sony FCB-EV7520 or -EV7520A) offers 30x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom with HDMI output. The video output is SMPTE 274M and SMPTE 296M compliant and all HD modes up to 1080p60 are supported.
Based on the Sony FCB-EV7520 or FCB-EV7520A camera with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, the camera guarantees high-quality imaging even in low-light conditions. It builds upon the market leading specifications of Sony’s world-renowned FCB Series features including Advanced Noise Reduction, Auto ICR, Spherical Privacy Zone Masking and Wide Dynamic Range, which makes this camera solution suitable for a variety of demanding applications.
The HDMI output is enabled when an HDMI cable is connected. On power-up, the camera video mode may be selected by the DIP switch settings on the board. Camera video modes, along with other camera and interface board functions, may also be controlled by VISCA commands sent using TTL serial communication.
Alternatively, the Sony FCB-EF7520A camera is also available with USB, USB/HDMI, Ethernet IP or 3G-SDI video output.

KEL30 Connector (J1) |
The interface board is fitted with a 30-way miniature connector to link to the matching connector on the camera. Connector type: KEL USL00-30L. Mating cable: A 30-way micro coaxial cable (AS-CIB-USL30-100MM) is supplied with the camera. Lengths available: KEL USL20-30SS-010-C (100mm length) or KEL USL20-30SS-005-C (50mm length). |

Interface
HDMI |
HDMI output is enabled when an HDMI cable is plugged in. The video mode of the HDMI output is the same as the output of the camera. To change the mode of the HDMI output the mode of the camera should be changed using VISCA serial commands or DIP switch settings (and power cycling). Video modes up to 1080p60 are supported. Compliant with HDMI specification v.1.4a. |
