The Harrier 36x AF-Zoom HDMI Camera output features a powerful 36x optical zoom / 32x digital zoom. The HDMI video output is SMPTE 274M and SMPTE 296M compliant and all HD modes up to 1080p30 are supported. The global shutter CMOS image of this HDMI block camera sensor guarantees the capture of moving objects without the distortion that can occur with rolling shutters.
The HDMI output is enabled when an HDMI cable is connected. On power-up, the camera video mode may be selected by the DIP switch settings on the board. Camera video modes, along with other camera and interface board functions, may also be controlled by TTL serial communication.
Special features of the HDMI autofocus-zoom camera include Digital Image Stabilization, Noise Reduction, Privacy Mask Function, Intelligent Motion Detection, Day & Night mode (Infrared Cut filter Removal, ICR) and High/Back Light Compensation (HLC/BLC).
The Harrier 36x AF-Zoom Camera is also available with USB/HDMI or HD-SDI video output.

Connector specifications
KEL30 Connector (J1) |
The interface board is fitted with a 30-way miniature connector to link to the matching connector on the camera. Connector type: KEL USL00-30L. Mating cable: KEL USL20-30SS-010-C (100mm length) or KEL USL20-30SS-005-C (50mm length) 30-way micro coaxial cable. This cable can be supplied with the interface board (see ordering information). Other lengths also available (subject to minimum order quantities). |
Input/Output Connector (J2) |
The interface board is fitted with an industry standard 4-way connector for Vsync/PWM signal output and test pattern/reset control inputs. The interface board is fitted with an 8-way DIP switch (SW1) to enable selection of camera video format on power-up. Switches 5-8 are reserved for future use. See datasheet for the configuration of the DIP switch elements. |
